Where Christ is the Central Message and Hope Abounds!

18. * SMALL GROUP MINISTRY & BIBLE STUDY

SMALL GROUP SESSION #4

FROM 6:30-7:30 PM AT THE CHURCH

THE FOURTH SESSION IS 6 WEEKS AND IS TITLED:

“HOW TO FIGHT SPIRITUAL BATTLES AND WIN?”

As you move through the following group studies, you will be interacting with your group and the Bible on the varying dimensions of success.  With a little help from your friends, you should more clearly understand what constitutes true success.

Join us every Wednesday night beginning from 6:30-7:30 PM in our small group sessions that will help you apply Scripture to everyday practical living.  And best of all, you won’t have to go it alone.  With this series you will become part of a caring, supportive group, where members help each other through the wear-and-tear of life.

NOTE:  THIS STUDY REQUIRES NO TEXT OTHER THAN YOUR BIBLE

TEACHER:  PASTOR DAVE

                                                                                            (NURSERY IS PROVIDED)

    ABOUT SMALL GROUPS

Our mission is to become a church "where nobody stands alone!" To accomplish this dream, our plan is to connect everyone attending CENTRAL BAPTIST (CB) to a Life Group where they can connect with God and with other people. You are invited to get connected to one of the many caring Life Group communities at CB.

What is a CB Life Group?
A gathering of 8 to 12 individuals, consisting of people like you with a similar background, interests, life situations, etc.

When do CB Life Groups meet?
It is our prayer that groups will be available almost every day of the week. A Life Group Directory will be available in the near future.

Who leads a CB Life Group?
Life Group leaders are members of CB who have been trained to lead a Life Group. Your Life Group leader will be a person who sincerely cares for you, a person who will help you learn how the Bible applies to your everyday life, and a person who will encourage you to share your faith in Christ with other people.

What happens in a CB Life Group Meeting?

  • Sharing: Learning about one another as you become a caring community of believers.
  • Bible Study: Exploring the Bible with lots of interaction as you apply the Bible to your everyday life.
  • Prayer: Conversing with God as you experience His strength for facing the challenges of life.
  • Outreach: Participating together to connect more people to your small group and to Jesus Christ.

What about childcare at a CB Small Group?
Every Life Group decides how to handle this issue for their group. Some groups offer no child care. Other groups provide child care in another room at your meeting place or at a home close by.

What do you study in a CB Life Group?
Each group has the choice as to what it will study, choosing from books of the Bible, to life application studies, to topical issues.
